player. 30. . Offensive Tackle. New York Jets. Evan Neal. 4

The New York Jets have had an exciting offseason so far, as they look to change the fortunes of this franchise. It is still to be seen whether or not they made the right choice by drafting Zach Wilson at No. 2 overall last year, but he is going to have a few seasons to figure it out.

All head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas can do is build around him now, and they continue to do so with Evan Neal here at No. 4 overall. Sure, a left tackle here is an indictment on Mekhi Becton, but the truth is, when you have a young quarterback, you can never have too many offensive linemen.

Charles Cross. 5. player. 31. . Offensive Tackle. New York Giants

The New York Giants have made it clear that they plan to see what they have in Daniel Jones, who is out to prove he is the right guy to be their franchise quarterback going forward. Jones has all of the physical gifts to succeed at the NFL level, and this new regime has done a good job putting talent around him this offseason.

The Giants hold two first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, and in fact, those picks are very close together. With pick No. 5 overall, they continue to bolster the offensive line, adding Charles Cross, who could end up pushing Andrew Thomas for the starting left tackle job.

. Quarterback. Carolina Panthers. Malik Willis. 6. player. 87

The Carolina Panthers hold the No. 6 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and they could go several different ways with the selection. One thing is clear, they are the first team that could be in on a quarterback, and they select one, making him the first signal-caller off the board.

That signal-caller is Malik Willis, who has been the darling of the draft season, and a player who many feel has the highest ceiling of all the quarterbacks available. Willis can make all the throws, has tremendous athleticism, and could end up being a starter in the league for a very long time.
