. Edge. New York Giants. Travon Walker. 7. player. 31

The New York Giants hold both the No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and the No. 7 selection, which is great news for a franchise that has been terrible for quite some time. The hope for Giants fans is that the new regime can turn things around, and they have done a good job this offseason getting better personnel on the field.

After going offensive line with pick No. 5, they decide to bolster the pass rush here, taking one of the best players in this class in Travon Walker. This is a kid who has been outstanding during the draft season and has certainly raised his stock to the point where he will be a top-10 pick.

Edge. Atlanta Falcons. Jermaine Johnson. 8. player. 44.

The Atlanta Falcons made a surprising move this offseason, as they traded away franchise quarterback Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts. Ryan was an all-time great for the franchise and has good years left, so it was an interesting move, to say the least.

After signing Marcus Mariota to take his spot, the Falcons will not be in on a quarterback here, but instead, continue to try and bolster the pass rush. Jermaine Johnson is a fantastic talent and should be a double-digit sack guy at the next level, giving the Falcons the edge in a very winnable NFC South next season.

Seattle Seahawks. Desmond Ridder. 9. player. 36. . Quarterback

The Seattle Seahawks were another team who said goodbye to their franchise quarterback this offseason, as they traded away Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. Wilson won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks and is a legend in Seattle, so it will be interesting to see him wearing another uniform.

While the Seahawks got Drew Lock in the deal for Wilson, there is no way this proud franchise starts him, and they could be in the market for a quarterback in this year’s draft. If they are, I believe Desmond Ridder is someone who will rise during draft day, and possibly be the second quarterback off the board.

30. . Edge. New York Jets. Kayvon Thibodeaux. 10. player

The New York Jets will close out the first ten picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, and they can upgrade their defensive line in a big way. With Kayvon Thibodeaux falling to No. 10, the Jets pick up one of the best edge rushers in this draft class and a player with a very high ceiling.

You can be sure that Robert Saleh is trying to build up this defense, and he wants to do it with outstanding athletes, especially coming off the edge. Thibodeaux has everything you look for in a long-time pass-rusher at the next level, and he improves this Jets team in a big way.
