Duke basketball: Who will stay?

With two potential players NBA ready, Trevor Keels and Wendell Moore Jr., there is a possibility the Blue Devils could see their return next season. But, whether or not they return, there is still a hand full of talent expected to return.

Joey Baker, Forward

Baker is set to return this season as a fifth-year senior, despite being a senior last year because of the COVID-19 season.

Baker came into Duke’s program as a four-star recruit but could be returning as a veteran to provide a safety net for shooting, or potentially enter the transfer portal to get more playing time with a new team.

Jeremy Roach, Guard

Roach could land his way onto the starting lineup for next season, as he was a key part of the rotation last season. Roach came into the program as a five-star recruit and has excellent ball-handling skills.

Going into the 2022-23 season, Roach could see himself as a starting guard whose experience sets him aside from others.
