Terry McLaurin would be perfect playing for his hometown Indianapolis Colts

Who says you can’t go home? It would be a great time for McLaurin to do that, as his hometown Indianapolis Colts could use a No. 1 wide receiver in the worst way possible. They traded for Matt Ryan this offseason. While Ryan makes every receiver and tight end he throws the ball to better, the Colts need a  No. 1 to get them over the top and win the division for the first time since 2014.

Though Michael Pittman Jr. could become that No. 1 guy, there is no time to waste with Ryan now quarterbacking this team. McLaurin could join fellow Buckeye Parris Campbell in this revamped Colts receiving corps. While the allure of adding Ryan’s favorite target ever in Julio Jones could be very appealing, trading for McLaurin is all about stealing the Commanders’ lunch money yet again.

If the Commanders will take on Carson Wentz’s contract, they could surely give up their best offensive player because when have they ever proven to know what they are doing under Daniel Snyder? By dealing for the former Cathedral High School standout, Indianapolis can go from a team that can win its division to a dark horse Super Bowl contender out of the AFC immediately.

One would think the Colts are an ideal landing spot should Washington make McLaurin available.
