Former Los Angeles Lakers players Alex Caruso and Kyle Kuzma were sick of watching the Golden State Warriors NBA Championship parade.

The Golden State Warriors are once again NBA Champions after they defeated the Boston Celtics in six games in the Finals. With that, means a parade was taking place in the Bay Area. It is the Warriors’ first since 2018.

While Warriors fans were taking time out of their day to watch the parade on June 20, they should no that former players on the 2020 Los Angeles Lakers championship game hated viewing it.

Alex Caruso, now with the Chicago Bulls, tweeted that he was “sick” watching the parade. Kyle Kuzma, now with the Washington Wizards, responded to his former teammate’s tweet, bringing up the fact that the Lakers never got a parade.

Caruso and Kuzma both won their first NBA title after defeating the Miami Heat in six games from inside the Orlando bubble in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. The Lakers announced that they would hold a parade when it was “safe to do so.” But it never came to fruition due to the pandemic.

The Lakers were not the only team from the city to not have a parade. The Dodgers won the World Series that fall after beating the Tampa Bay Rays in six games, but there was no official celebration held.

Los Angeles did get to experience a parade earlier this year, when the Rams won Super Bowl 56 after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.

The Warriors had plenty of memorable moments at their fourth championship parade in the past eight years. They will obviously plan for there to be more in the near future.
