1. Tua is nowhere near better than him

Perhaps the most bizarre of Hill’s comments have been that Tua Tagovailoa, his new quarterback, is more accurate than Mahomes. This comment specifically has gotten NFL fans and media alike pretty riled up.

Saying that a quarterback who Hill hasn’t even played a regular season snap with, has a 15-8 career record, and hasn’t even played a full NFL season is better than Mahomes is ludicrous. Not only is it false, but it’s probably putting a lot more pressure on Tagovailoa than there needs to be. His job status is already in question after his lackluster play thus far in his career while Justin Herbert, who got drafted a pick after him, looks like a potential star.

Mahomes saying he was “a little surprised” by Hill’s comments was the least he could have said. Mahomes has been known to take the high road throughout his entire career, which is a good thing. If he didn’t take the high road, he could have made Hill look foolish by disproving everything he claimed. He’d rather do that on the field instead of at a press conference.
