Aaron Rodgers leaves Green Bay Packers to make Minnesota Vikings champions

Let’s be real. There was no other option. As much as Vikings fans may absolute hate it, they would have to take Aaron Rodgers as their Green Bay Packers representative in this exercise. Prideful Vikings fans may want to have Rodgers ride pine and back up Kirk Cousins to see how he would like that. In reality, everybody knows how good the two-time reigning NFL MVP is at quarterback.

Green Bay might have a strong ground game and an improving defense, but the Packers are only going to go as far in the postseason as Rodgers allows them to. While he might regress a tad this fall due to losing Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders in his free agency, as well as being one year older, having Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen to throw the ball to would make him ecstatic.

Unlike his Packers predecessor Brett Favre, Rodgers would actually lead the Vikings to the Super Bowl. Dalvin Cook may not be as good as peak Adrian Peterson, but Rodgers is not going to throw the ball across his body in an NFC Championship Game. Rodgers does a lot of things well, but he is especially adept at not turning the football over. Picking him up makes the Vikings very dangerous.

By adding these star players to the roster, this might be the best Vikings team since maybe 1998.
