Cardinals untouchable prospect: Gordon Graceffo

Graceffo was drafted in the fifth round by the Cardinals in the 2021 Amatuer Draft out of Villanova University. Now with the AA Springfield Cardinals, he is 5-1 in nine games started. Graceffo has one complete game this season. He has a 3.21 ERA, with 53.1 innings and  41 strikeouts.

Graceffo fields the position well too with a 1.000 fielding percentage this season. He has three putouts, five assists and no errors with Springfield.

Here’s a look at a nasty strikeout from his most recent game. Graceffo is 22 with a load of talent the Cards can not let get away. With so many pitching concerns over the past few seasons, seeing that a pitcher with Graceffo’s stock in the Cardinals pipeline is just wonderful to see.
