1. Kansas City Chiefs should consider a Kareem Hunt reunion

The Kansas City Chiefs had every reason to part ways with Kareem Hunt given his disturbing off-field behavior. Let’s not mince words about that.

With that said, the Browns have continued to give Hunt chances to clean up his act and, now that the running back wants to be traded, it’s not inconceivable that the Chiefs could come calling about a potential reunion with the player who rushed for over 1,300 yards in Kansas City as a rookie.

It’s a crowded running back room in KC that includes former first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Ronald Jones, Jerick McKinnon and rookies Jerrion Ealy and Isaiah Pacheco. What all of those guys have in common, though, is that they’ve never fully lived up to their hype or potential. And with the Chiefs offense now having more questions than before with Tyreek Hill gone, that could become a more glaring issue.

Hunt’s return to Kansas City would be a bit controversial and that could be the reason that they ultimately decide to not make the call. But looking at the football effects that a potential Kareem Hunt trade could have on the Chiefs, phoning up the Browns about what it would cost to get the running back wouldn’t be the worst idea.
