2. Not shaking up the bench in the outfield

The Braves had a lot of injuries in the outfield last year. This year, it has been a combination of injuries and ineffectiveness. Marcell Ozuna has been ineffective but with his contract, he’s going to be on the roster regardless. Eddie Rosario has also been ineffective but his contract will also keep him on the roster (even though it’s not as big as Ozuna’s).

However, they still have Guillermo Heredia on the roster when he hasn’t played well and he doesn’t have a big contract. They have a problem there, though. In Triple-A, Alex Dickerson and Delino DeShields Jr. have both struggled. Preston Tucker has played well but he’s on the IL.

One intriguing option could be David Dahl. Dahl, 28, was an All-Star in 2019 for the Rockies but has struggled with injuries recently. Most recently, he was with the Nationals in Triple-A but he just opted out of his deal there on Monday. At the Triple-A level this season with the Brewers and Nationals, Dahl is hitting .279/.345/.422 in 85 games. Dahl or someone like him might be worth a shot on the bench.
