5 NBA free agents most likely to be signed after Kevin Durant patches things with Nets

Next NBA free agents to be signed: Montrezl Harrell
Montrezl Harrell definitely isn’t done in the NBA. It’s hard to see the season starting with Harrell not on an NBA roster.
Harrell spent last season with the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets, and after seven years in the league is looking for a new home.
The 2021 Sixth Man of the Year has spent time playing in the Drew League this summer keeping his body ready. Harrell is known for telling it how it is, and his bold personality shines through in his aggressive play style on the floor.
This definitely feels like an inevitable signing, though he may not get the contract he once felt he deserved. At this point, most teams pursuing his services probably only have the veteran minimum to offer.
Harrell is an undersized big man and there are concerns about his defensive capabilities relative to comparable options. But his flexibility in either frontcourt slot is a lineup advantage many coaches might like to have off the bench.
Next NBA free agents to be signed: Dennis Schroder
The Los Angeles Lakers are looking into reuniting with Dennis Schroder, and it certainly appears to be the most likely signing to happen in the coming days. With Durant agreeing to move forward with the Nets, it means Brooklyn heads into the regular season with confidence, meaning Kyrie Irving is even less available than before.
Previously, James was pushing for the Lakers to trade for Irving.
Now, though, they’ll need to look elsewhere to fill the backcourt, and Schroder, who has familiarity with the franchise having played with the team for the 2020-21 season, is a logical option.
Last season Schroder averaged 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game with the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets.
