The Pittsburgh Steelers received some good news regarding one of their key players on offense.
To open up their season, the Pittsburgh Steelers got a huge 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, their rivals and the defending AFC champions, in overtime. But, they lost two players in the game due to injury in pass rusher TJ Watt due to a pectoral injury and running back Najee Harris to a foot injury.
There is some good news for Harris. According to ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter, tests on Harris’ foot came back negative, and the Steelers believe that the running back “should be good to go” for the team’s Week 2 game against the New England Patriots.
Tests today on Steelers’ RB Najee Harris’ foot injury came back negative and there is a belief that, according to a source, he “should be good to go” Sunday vs. the Patriots.

Steelers: Najee Harris ‘should be good to go’ for Week 2
The injury to Harris occurred during the fourth quarter, where he limped to the sidelines after a run. He did not return for the remainder o the game.
This was not the first time that Harris dealt with a foot injury, as he dealt with a Lisfranc ailment throughout training camp. However, he was deemed good to go for Pittsburgh’s season opener.
Against the Bengals, Harris ran for 23 yards on 10 carries, and caught two passes for three yards on two targets.
As for Watt, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report that while Watt is still gathering information, the belief is that he will not require surgery for his pectoral injury, and will not miss the entirety of the season.
