Fantasy football running back sleepers for week 3: Travis Homer, Seattle Seahawks

Can you guess who led the Seahawks in snaps in Week 2? Was it the running back who ended last season on an absolute heater? Was it the 2022 second-round pick? Nope. It was Travis Homer. He led the Seahawks’ backs with a 45% snap share, and caught four passes for 33 yards.

It’s clear Homer is the preferred passing-down back, and the fact that he was able to hold off both Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Walker is encouraging. While he’s not a very inspiring running back play this week, you can’t ignore the usage he got in Week 2. He’s a name to keep an eye on.

Fantasy football running back sleepers for week 3: Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins

A week after doing essentially nothing, Raheem Mostert came out and looked like the clear starter for Miami, rushing 11 times for 51 yards, and catching three passes for 28 yards. What is also encouraging is that this game was an absolute shootout, and he seemed to hold off presumptive passing-down back Chase Edmunds.

The Dolphins’ backfield will likely become a weekly headache, but we’re going with what looked like the better option here. Mostert has a chance to build on his solid Week 2, albeit against an elite Buffalo defense.
