Projected AP Top 25 college football rankings after Week 4: No. 18-17

18. Kansas State Wildcats

Adrian Martinez pulled up the big upset last week over Oklahoma. All he needed to do against Texas Tech was to take care of business and he managed to do that.

While the Red Raiders tried to hang around for three quarters, the Wildcats pulled away in the fourth quarter to keep their Big 12 record unscathed.

Tech did recover an onside kick to make things interesting but K-State ultimately deserved the win.

17. UCLA Bruins

UCLA was disrespected by not getting into the Top 25 with a 4-0 record. However, they lacked a signature win. Washington’s visit on Friday gave them just that.

It’s not just that the Bruins beat the No. 15 Huskies. It’s that they rolled over them comfortably. Those who didn’t stay up to watch may not realize it looking at the 40-32 scoreline but this was a blowout until Washington whipped up some garbage time points.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson put on a show and proved UCLA deserves some serious love.
