Projected AP Top 25 college football rankings after Week 4: No. 20-19

20. Kansas Jayhawks

The voters won’t be able to dodge Kansas now. With a win over Iowa State, the Jayhawks have moved to 5-0 and will finally get the ranking they have deserved all along.

It wasn’t always pretty against the Cyclones but Kansas did what they had to do to add to their win total.

Kansas isn’t just a great story. Their blind resume has been touted as rank-worthy all week. Their marquee matchup with TCU next week will help determine the length of their stay in the rankings.

19. TCU Horned Frogs

The Horned Frogs did more than beat Oklahoma. They embarrassed them. They buried them. They made memes out of them.

The Sooners were obviously vulnerable after their loss to Kansas State but few would have expected TCU to blast them quite like that.

Sonny Dykes has TCU playing great offense and they just keep winning. It’s about time they got ranked.
