Pick Analysis. Big Ten. (6-0). player. 812. Scouting Report. Ohio State Buckeyes. 2

Ohio State has largely been unchallenged, but prestige will serve them in the end

As with arch rival Michigan, Ohio State has largely been unchallenged. Although the Buckeyes technically have a win over a top-10 opponent like the Wolverines just got over Penn State, Notre Dame is not a good team this season under first-year head coach Marcus Freeman. The good news for the Buckeyes is they still have to play the Nittany Lions and the Wolverines this season.

Because Saturday in Ann Arbor was Penn State’s first loss on the season, the Nittany Lions should still be ranked when the Buckeyes come to town for a whiteout, assuming they do not slip up vs. Minnesota. Ohio State has an explosive offense and has the prestige to remain a top-three team throughout the rankings process, so long as they do not drop a game before Selection Sunday.

With The Game being in Columbus this year, the Buckeyes have the upper hand to win the Big Ten.

Pick Analysis. SEC. Scouting Report. (7-0). Georgia Bulldogs. 1. player. 814

Georgia is in position to repeat as College Football Playoff National Champions

The defending College Football Playoff National Champions enter their bye week at a perfect 7-0. Georgia has bounced back with two big conference wins over Auburn and Vanderbilt to make up for looking out-of-sorts vs. Kent State and especially Missouri. They only have SEC games and Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate left. Going 5-0 in those will not be easy, but that is what it will take.

After the Cocktail Party, Georgia will play three incredibly difficult games in a row: Home vs. Tennessee, at Mississippi State and at Kentucky. Georgia is talented enough to win all three, but a loss to any of them will make things challenging for them to win the division. The good news is if they were to fall to Tennessee, they may have a shot as a one-loss, non-champion to make it in.

Georgia has been the most consistent team all season long and has plenty of huge games left.
