1. QB Hendon Hooker

How does Virginia Tech look now? At one point, Hendon Hooker was known in Blacksburg as the quarterback that lost to UVA. Now, he’s joined a rare club of individuals that have beaten Nick Saban.

Chad Kelly, Johnny Manziel, Bo Nix, Deshaun Watson, and Trevor Lawrence are a select few to accomplish this feat. Add Hendon Hooker to the list and elevate his stock for the Heisman trophy. This game alone warrants consideration, considering how poised he looked.

All hope seemed lost when Dallas Turner scooped up a fumble and returned it for a score, but Hooker wasn’t phased. He just rebounded and delivered. Now the Volunteers are still unbeaten, thanks to his heroics.

There are still several games left to be played, but at least for now, he’s the toast of Tennessee for ending a 16-year wait for glory.
