851. . . Previous: . Bijan Robinson. 8. player

Bijan Robinson had a phenomenal first half in Week 9. On Texas’ second drive, Robinson ran for a 42-yard touchdown to gain the 7-3 lead. In the second quarter, Robinson caught a pass from Quinn Ewers and essentially jogged into the end zone for a 41-yard touchdown to extend their lead to 21-10.

Robinson gained 134 yards on 14 touches in the first half alone. However, Texas was unable to maintain their lead, as they lost 41-34.

On 24 carries, Robinson ran for 140 yards and a touchdown. He also caught the aforementioned touchdown pass, his lone reception of the day.

Robinson will next play in Week 10, when they face the Kansas State Wildcats.

We have a new name to include on the Heisman power rankings, due in part to their performance and D.J. Uiagalelei getting benched by Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney after a poor showing against Syracuse. The new name on this list is Oregon’s Bo Nix.

The former Auburn Tigers quarterback has turned things around this season following the team’s season-opening blowout loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. He did just that in Week 8 when he took on the No. 9 UCLA Bruins.

In Oregon’s 45-30 win over UCLA, Nix completed 22 passes for 283 yards and five touchdowns on 28 attempts, while running for 51 yards on eight carries.

Nix helped the Ducks take a commanding 31-13 lead entering halftime. If Nix keeps up at this pace, he could continue to climb up the rankings.
