Teams the Cowboys should offload Ezekiel Elliott to: 2. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have shown that they are in the market for a running back.

In the lead-up to the trade deadline, reports indicated that the team was exploring trade options for running back Cam Akers. But then, things only got more interesting. The San Francisco 49ers acquired running back Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers, and the Rams were finalists. However, it was the 49ers’ offer that won out.

The Rams, like the Buccaneers, do not have a great rushing offense. Much like Tampa Bay, that can be contributed to their offensive line. Entering their Week 8 game against the 49ers, the Rams had only averaged 70.5 yards per game and 3.4 yards per carry.

If the past couple of years have shown NFL fans anything, it is that they are always willing to part ways with draft capital to bring in big-name players. But would the Rams be interested in Elliott?
