Teams the Cowboys should offload Ezekiel Elliott to: 1. Buffalo Bills

When it comes to who is most in need of a running back, that team is the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills are obvious Super Bowl contenders. They started off their season with a win over the Rams, the reigning Super Bowl champions. Then, just before their Week 7 bye, they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that eliminated them in their previous two trips to the playoffs.

Their offense is led by quarterback Josh Allen, who is a superstar in the league. He has the arm to make his throws, passing to the likes of Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis. Allen can also run the ball… a lot. He actually leads the team in rushing with 297 yards entering Week 8.

Devin Singletary recorded 256 rushing yards on 57 carries. Rookie James Cook ran for 97 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries.

The Bills’ front office absolutely needs to land a top running back at the trade deadline. That way, the pressure is alleviated off of Allen, who does not have to resort to running the ball himself.
