1. J.T. Realmuto

A frequent mention in these articles, Realmuto has had a World Series to forget. That included on Thursday night when the veteran catcher was 0-for-5 at the plate with three strikeouts, dropping his postseason batting average to .210.

Even when Realmuto did make contact on Thursday, it still felt like he was cursed. His ninth-inning rocket that looked like it was heading for extra bases turned into a highlight-reel catch from center fielder Chas McCormick that will be a part of Houston promotional videos for years to come.

The Phillies struck out 12 times on Thursday, with Hoskins and Realmuto (the second and third batters in the Philadelphia lineup) accounting for seven of those. That’s a trend that simply can’t continue if Philadelphia has any chance of rallying to take the title in Houston.
