8. Fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for Week 9: Denzel Mims, New York Jets

Rostered: 0.1 percent

After being inactive for the Jets’ first six games, Mims surprisingly played 44 offensive snaps last week. He capitalized on his opportunity recording two receptions for 76 yards. Mims should get more opportunities on Sunday, as Corey Davis has been ruled out with a knee injury.

He has upside for the remainder of the season, as well. Jets head coach Robert Saleh recently spoke highly of Mims. According to Connor Hughes of SNY, Saleh said “something switched” with Mims, and he could “absolutely” stay in the lineup after Davis returns.

Mims is a nice under-the-radar pickup in deeper leagues.

7. Fantasy football wide receiver sleepers for Week 9: Terrace Marshall Jr., Carolina Panthers

Rostered: 7.0 percent

The 2021 second-round pick has benefited from a recent surge in playing time. After logging only six total offensive snaps in the first four games, Marshall played 117 total offensive snaps in his last two games. Last Sunday, he had four receptions for 84 yards on 9 targets.

The Robbie Anderson-trade has given Marshall a clear path to targets. The 22-year-old should continue to play a key role in the Panthers’ passing game.
