3 Packers that deserve the most blame for loss to Lions

Packers that deserve the most blame: Allen Lazard
40 percent. That’s the catch percentage that Allen Lazard ended Sunday’s game with, bringing in four of his 10 targets. It was his lowest catch percentage game of the season, undercutting the 44.4 percent he put up against the New York Jets.
This year has been the worst of Lazard’s career in terms of catch percentage, and this week was the low point of this very bad year.
Lazard is top-10 in the NFL in drop percentage this season.
Lazard perhaps unfairly gets the bad grade here as a representative for the entire receiving group, but he had the most opportunities to bring in passes and make something of the day, and he didn’t quite do enough. If you’re the No. 1 receiver, supposedly, you need to make some plays, contested or not.
He did tally an impressive 87 yards and one touchdown, but don’t be mystified by those stats. What if he had grabbed any of the six targets he couldn’t pull in?
He’s lucky he didn’t get flagged for removing his helmet on the TD he did score, too.
