4. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 10 – Carolina Panthers WR Terrace Marshall

There is something to be said for finding a deep sleeper at the wide receiver position. One may be emerging in Carolina as Terrace Marshall had his most interesting performance of the season in Week 9.

The Panthers were blown out in Cincinnati but Marshall was still productive, catching 3-of-6 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown. The targets have started to spike for Marshall, who was targeted nine times last week and is becoming a valued member of the passing attack.

While the overall numbers may look underwhelming, NFL.com’s Michael Florio posted an interesting nugget about Marshall during Sunday’s action.

That stat is interesting and also makes sense since opposing teams will try to take D.J. Moore away from the Panthers now that Christian McCaffrey is in San Francisco. The new offensive approach from Carolina clearly has a big role for Marshall, who has a ton of talent and can accumulate plenty of garbage time numbers on a bad football team.

Marshall is rostered in just six percent of Yahoo! leagues, making him a good speculative grab for teams looking for depth at wide receiver to manage their bye weeks. The Panthers will be in Baltimore Week 10, setting up another potential garbage time party for Marshall as a flex option.
