1. The Warriors are still the Warriors

We all expect the Warriors to find their groove and get it together but they’ve looked disoriented so far this season. They’ve only won three games so far but somehow have still been exciting to watch. I’ll try to explain why other than just saying — Stephen Curry. This is tough, especially since Curry leads the team in points (32.6), assists (6.9), and rebounds (7.1) per game.

Despite their abysmal start at 4-7, the Warriors are still humming on offense. Outside of Curry, the points are very spread out and head coach Steve Kerr continues his philosophy to move the ball to an open shooter.

While they haven’t shot the ball tremendously well a couple of players have elevated their game. Which will result in more wins for Golden State as the season progresses.

It would be nice to see more minutes for James Wiseman. The Warriors are working him back slowly due to him returning from his meniscus tear. He has shown glimpses of whom they expect the former number-two overall pick to be. In just 13 minutes a game, he is averaging 7.3 points and 4 rebounds.

When he is in the game, it’s exciting to watch how much energy he plays with, which will get even bigger once he gets more comfortable throughout the season. This is one of the best sequences that display with Wiseman is capable of doing. He still needs a lot of work on defense but he’s finally getting regular appearances.

Fresh off his new contract, Jordan Poole has looked great so far as well. He is turning the ball over a bit more than usual (3.2 TO), but he is still shooting with confidence and continues to give the Warriors a second scoring option. He is playing more flashy this season and brings another level of excitement to the second unit.

The energy is there which is exciting to watch and it will translate into more wins later on in the season.
