Edge. Seattle Seahawks. Myles Murphy. 11. player. 36.

When starting our weekly 2023 NFL Mock Drafts, the No. 1 team need for the Seattle Seahawks was the quarterback position. With Drew Lock and Geno Smith battling for the starting job,  the position was seen as a major weakness, but that is not the case anymore, as Smith has taken the NFL by storm.

Now, Seattle can turn their attention to the defense at pick No. 11, a selection they have due to the Denver Broncos. With the pick, they add one of the elite edge rushers in this draft class in Myles Murphy, who instantly turns a weakness into a strength along this defensive line.

CB. Detroit Lions. Kelee Ringo. 12. player. 50.

The Detroit Lions are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, which is why they are selecting in the top 5 picks with their selection. However, they also pick at No. 12 due to the fact the Los Angeles Rams are having a bad Super Bowl hangover, so expect the improvements in Detroit to be plentiful next season.

After picking a quarterback at No. 5 in Will Levis, Detroit goes on the defensive here, adding Kelee Ringo, who could end up being the best cornerback in this draft class. Ringo instantly improves a secondary that looked better this past weekend against Green Bay, but the issues on defense have been numerous this season.
