10. . TE. Houston Texans. Michael Mayer. 13. player

The Houston Texans will pick at No. 1 overall next year if they continue their recent trend, but the party won’t be over for them there. With the Deshaun Watson trade came a bunch of draft picks, and one of them will be the No. 13 overall selection, where they get a playmaker for rookie quarterback CJ Stroud.

Michael Mayer is without a doubt the best tight end in this year’s draft class, and he could end up going in the top 10 when all is said and done. However, if he is available at No. 13, the Texans should run up to the podium with the pick, because he is that good a prospect.

. QB. Indianapolis Colts. Hendon Hooker. 14. player. 46

The Indianapolis Colts are turning into a laughingstock, as they recently fired Frank Reich as their head coach, and replaced him with Jeff Saturday. Yes, you heard that right, ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday, who has never coached at the NFL level and also does not have an offensive coordinator on staff.

There is going to be a major reset with the Colts this offseason, and one of those positions has to be the quarterback. Sam Ehlinger is not a starting QB at the NFL level, and at pick No. 14, Hendon Hooker could be available to save this franchise. Indianapolis has succeeded with a Tennessee quarterback before.
