2. Bron Breakker is the babyface of NXT and will be a heavyweight champion on Raw or Smackdown

Being the son of a WWE Hall-of-Famer (Rick Steiner) comes with undeniable pressure that many before Bron Breakker haven’t been able to measure up to.

Breakker is currently in the midst of his second reign as the NXT champion. He defeated current Raw superstar Dolph Ziggler back on April 4, 2022, on Raw. This accomplishment for Breakker was the first time the NXT title has changed hands on Raw or Smackdown. This means he has been champ for 218 days and counting.

In a perfect world, Breakker would be called-up by now. But, the problem is — where does he fit in? Immediately throwing him in the mix with Reigns doesn’t make any sense since the Universal Title isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. When Breakker is called up he will be right at the top of the main roster. Throwing him into a pointless feud with Brock Lesnar or Bobby Lashley doesn’t elevate his value at all either.

As another former football player, Breakker is by far and none the best pure athlete in all of WWE.

When you add in his intensity and dynamic move-set with his combination of his power slam, spear, and belly-to-belly suplex — you’ve got the complete package. If you read that and didn’t know whom I was talking about, you would probably think of Goldberg.

The main difference is Breakker is only 25 years old.

Christopher Jeter from DailyDDT recently wrote about how Breakker has dominated all of his competition and how they need to freshen up his future opponents. While this may be true, the bottom line is that’s how great Breakker has been for the past year or two. He is following in his father’s footsteps and the beauty is this is only the beginning.
