The College Football Playoff rankings are released every Tuesday starting in November, but what time do they come out on Nov. 15?

Like clockwork once November hits and through the end of the season, the College Football Playoff rankings are released on Tuesday nights on ESPN. And almost always, that broadcast begins at 7 p.m. ET on that night.

But if you’re reading this post, there is a good chance that you flipped to ESPN on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. ET only to see Kentucky and Michigan State playing college basketball. And if you then flipped around the entire family of networks, there were no College Football Playoff rankings to be found.

So what gives?

Don’t worry. This happens every year and we have you covered for when the CFP rankings for Week 12 will be revealed on Nov. 15.

What time do the College Football Playoff rankings get released tonight?

This is the one Tuesday annually that gets to college football fans with the CFP rankings. The Champions Classic basketball tournament is held on a Tuesday and ESPN airs the rankings reveal between the two games that are played.

So the answer is that, after the conclusion of the Kentucky vs Michigan State game that airs on ESPN at the normal time slot for the CFP rankings reveal, Rece Davis and the college football crew will come on for the College Football Playoff rankings. That should be around 9 p.m. ET but could be a little later depending on the end of the basketball game.

If you tune in on ESPN around 9 p.m. ET, though, you shouldn’t miss a second of the latest CFP rankings show. And the best news is that this is the one time you’ll have to worry about such things this season as it will be back at 7 p.m. next week on Nov. 22.
