3. Best fantasy football pickups for Week 13: QB Mike White, New York Jets

Rostered: 2.9%

White got his first start of the season on Sunday, as the Jets benched Zach Wilson. Expectations were tempered for the 27-year-old quarterback. The Jets’ offense was averaging only 14.0 points over their previous four games.

Well, White was phenomenal. He completed 22 out of his 28 pass attempts for 315 yards and three touchdowns. His 149.3 passer rating was the third highest by any quarterback in a single game this season (minimum two attempts).

From a fantasy football perspective, White was impressive, as well. As of Monday morning, he has the sixth-most fantasy points among quarterbacks this week. White has shown fantasy upside in the past. Last season, he threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals; he was the second-highest scoring fantasy quarterback that week.

The Jets’ roster is much improved over last season. They have a nice collection of playmakers, including Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, James Robinson, and Zonovan Knight. White is in a position to succeed in New York. With a low rostered percentage, he is a must-add in deeper leagues.
