Two-time World Cup champion Argentina will take on Australia on Saturday in the round of 16 at the World Cup.

Argentina, despite a surprise defeat in their opener against Saudi Arabia, defeated Mexico and Poland to top Group C. At the same time, Australia got the best of Denmark 1-0 in their final group stage match to finish second in Group D.

Argentina, among the pre-tournament favorites to win the World Cup, have a strong lineup with Lionel Messi patrolling the midfield. Messi is among the best players to ever play the game, but he has never won a World Cup.

The Socceroos, on the other hand, make their first World Cup knockout game appearance since 2006. They have emerged as one of this tournament’s Cinderella sides.
