3. Bryan Reynolds rumors: The Yankees should go after him even if they re-sign Aaron Judge

Imagine a New York Yankees outfield with Aaron Judge in right field, Harrison Bader in center field, and Bryan Reynolds in left field. It could happen. Is this the kind of trade the Yankees should execute to make it become a reality?

This deal is headlined by outfielder Everson Pereira (5) followed by pitchers Will Warren (8) and Luis Gil (10) plus shortstop Roderick Arias (11). It’s a top-heavy trade for the Yankees to make to secure their outfield with one of the best trade candidates on the market right now.

Pereira is quickly becoming an outfielder Yankees fans are paying attention to. Lost behind some of the others in the farm, he’d be the one player Pittsburgh must acquire in a deal involving Reynolds.

Warren is probably at least a year away from making it to the majors while Gil has already sipped from the cup of major league coffee. Once the Pirates have secured a predecessor candidate for Reynolds, turning their attention to a team’s top pitchers makes a lot of sense. Warren and Gil are two of the best the Yankees have to offer.

Finally, there’s Arias. Although a shortstop and a guy with an underwhelming debut season in 2022, he’s only 18 and brighter days could be ahead. It wouldn’t be unwise of Pittsburgh to have some more infield options. You never can tell who develops into a huge star.

If the Pirates continue to spread the Bryan Reynolds rumors more, expect these three teams and plenty more to get on the phone and make a monster offer.
