4. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 14 – Detroit Lions WR D.J. Chark

A forgotten man in Detroit after an ankle injury cost him six games, D.J. Chark is finally healthy for the Lions. While Amon-Ra St. Brown paced the receivers in Detroit’s blowout win over the Jaguars, Chark made a solid impression for fantasy owners.

Jared Goff looked Chark’s way six times on Sunday and he caught five of those passes for 98 yards. That is some seriously solid production out of Chark, who signed a one-year deal with the Lions in the offseason to try and get right after missing most of the 2021 season due to injury.

Injuries have hampered Chark again but he is healthy now and is a key secondary player in the passing game, averaging just a shade under six targets per game when he is fully healthy. Detroit’s offense has been very productive throughout the season so getting in on their party with Chark makes a ton of sense, especially in a week with multiple impact receivers on bye.

Chark is rostered in just 16 percent of Yahoo leagues and has a favorable Week 14 matchup against a Minnesota Vikings’ secondary that is one of the league’s worst pass defenses. Fantasy owners in need of receiving help should grab Chark as a plug-and-play WR3.
