Miami could reunite Justin Flowe with Mario Cristobal

Flowe committed to play for Mario Cristobal at Oregon. He could play for him at Miami instead.

Manny Diaz tried to get Flowe to join the Hurricanes coming out of high school, so there was at least some interest from the player in heading to South Beach at some point.

Now it’s not Diaz who could bring him there, but the head coach who he decided to play for in the first place.

The Hurricanes lost four of their last six games in 2022. They could use some juice through the transfer portal and a former five-star linebacker would do that.

Ohio State could get the most out of Justin Flowe

Unfortunately, Flowe didn’t have a great 2022 season. If he had, he wouldn’t be in the position to transfer out of Oregon.

What he needs is a fresh start, possibly on a team with the luxury to take a chance on rehabbing a former-five star who underperformed in his most recent campaign.

Ohio State would be among the most intriguing stops for Flowe. The Buckeyes have national title aspirations but they haven’t been able to get over the hump since Ryan Day took over. Hitting on some reclamation projects in the portal could be the difference for them.

Flowe was immensely talented coming out of high school. He just needs the right situation to rebuild his confidence and unlock his potential once more.
