10 best players who could be available at the NBA Trade Deadline
9. Kelly Oubre Jr., Forward, Charlotte Hornets
With LaMelo Ball being out for most of the 2022 season, Kelly Oubre Jr. has become a volume scorer leading the team in points per game (20.4), adding to his already strong defense. Oubre would be an awesome get for a playoff team looking for depth. He’s a 6-foot-6 wing who provides elite defense at multiple positions. The one stat that’s preventing Oubre from being higher on this list is his 3-point percentage, sitting at a disappointing 31.9 percent. Perhaps the promising scoring numbers make up for it?
Expect Charlotte to be a major player at this year’s deadline. With Gordon Hayward and Lamelo Ball likely out for an extended period of time, it’s very possible we could see Terry Rozier, PJ Washington and Kelly Oubre Jr. all involved in trades around the deadline.
8. Jordan Clarkson, Guard, Utah Jazz
The former Sixth Man of the Year has taken full advantage of Donovan Mitchell’s departure, taking control for Utah, averaging a season-best 19.8 points per game, shooting 35 percent from 3.
Though these numbers are impressive, it’s important to note that Clarkson excels in the sixth-man role, the exact role he’d be playing on a contending team. Clarkson is very undervalued at the moment, considering the trade market for offensive creators is practically barren. The question is how much are teams willing to pay for Clarkson/
