The Browns hoped to inch closer to the .500 mark as they looked to sweep the Bengals for the third consecutive year. Cincinnati’s defense made life difficult for Deshaun Watson and company as it shackled Cleveland’s running game to the tune of 71 yards on 25 carries.

Watson would throw for 276 yards and a score but was sacked twice and picked off once. The Browns’ defense had its issues, allowing the balanced Bengals to run for 136 yards.

5-8. Previous: . Pittsburgh Steelers. 23. team. 55.

Winners of three of their previous four games, the Steelers hoped to carry that momentum into their showdown with the rival Ravens. Mistakes plagued Mike Tomlin’s team and his defensive unit allowed 215 yards rushing.

Kenny Pickett was knocked out early and veteran Mitch Trubisky wound up throwing for 276 yards and one score. He also served up three interceptions, two in the red zone, and Chris Boswell had a 40-yard field goal blocked.

Las Vegas Raiders. 22. team. 28. . 5-8. Previous:

The Silver and Black took a three-game winning streak into their Thursday night matchup with the Rams at Los Angeles. Josh McDaniels’ club didn’t put a lot of points on the board but appeared to be in control via a 16-3 lead in the fourth quarter.

Once again, the Raiders could not protect a double-digit advantage and allowed TD drives of 75 and 98 yards, respectively, down the stretch. Derek Carr threw for just 137 yards and was picked off twice.
