Green Bay Packers at Miami Dolphins Week 16 Prediction
The Week 16 matchup, at home, with the Miami Dolphins is an intriguing one. In Week 15, the Dolphins play at Buffalo, in the elements, which is not usually a positive outcome for Tua Tagovailoa.
The Dolphins are likely to take a loss to the Bills before entering Lambeau Field in Week 16, which would mean that Miami could be tied with another three teams at 8-6, depending on how the rest of Week 15 shakes out.
Like Green Bay, Miami will also have its backs up against the wall. But, again, they’ll be playing a cold-weather game — and this time, on the road. This is where Rodgers thrives. It’s a high-stakes game between two teams that desperately need a win. But, the fact that the Packers are at home will allow Rodgers and company to squeak out another close victory.
This one we’ll need to see Green Bay’s offense take advantage of a Dolphins pass defense giving up over 242 yards per game through the air (currently 23rd in the NFL). With a red-hot rookie like Christian Watson finally securing the trust of Rodgers, I’ll take the Packers offense upsetting what will be a reeling Miami team.
Rodgers tosses three scores, Watson comes up with over 100 yards of total offense and a pair of touchdowns, and Green Bay wins it.
Prediction: Packers 34, Dolphins 20
