Predicting the rest of the Packers 2022 schedule, playoff chances
By Ryan Heckman
The Green Bay Packers need to a lot to happen in order to make it into the postseason, but will they be so lucky?
The time is now for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
The loss of Davante Adams, Rodgers’ ailing thumb, and an overall down year have thrust some Packer fans into thinking about next year and beyond. But, don’t count out the back-to-back NFL MVP just yet.
Rodgers is going to play this thing out until he and his team are officially eliminated, which means they’ll continue to have a fighting chance so long as 12 is on the field. But, at 5-8, the Packers need a literal Hail Mary in order to get to the playoffs.
It won’t be easy, but here’s how the Packers can get in — and what we think will happen in the final four weeks.
Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams Week 15 Prediction
It will be two prime time games in a row for the newly-signed Baker Mayfield, but will the veteran quarterback be able to string together a pair of wins? Last week featured some Thursday Night Football magic, late in the fourth quarter, for Baker and his new teammates.
It was one of the feel-good stories from Week 14, but all good things must come to an end — and this one, particularly quickly.
In Week 15, I don’t believe Baker will come out on top.
The Packers have their backs up against a wall, in prime time, which is typically not a recipe for Aaron Rodgers to lose. Rodgers wills the Packers to victory in this one, although it won’t be a pretty game. The Rams defense still features star power, and with the home crowd behind Baker, the home team puts up a good fight.
In the end, the Packers take home the hard-fought victory and live to fight another day.
Prediction: Packers 23, Rams 20
