Aaron Rodgers rumors: 3 monster trade packages to force the Packers hand, No. 2: Las Vegas Raiders

How about a reunion?

The Packers had a difficult choice to make last offseason. They were able to re-sign Rodgers to a three-year, $150.8 million contract, but traded away star wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. Adams then agreed to terms on a five-year, $140 million contract.

Las Vegas is seeing Adams put up big numbers, recording 82 receptions for 1,247 yards and a league-high 12 touchdowns entering Week 15. However, the team is 5-8 on the year and managed to blow four double-digit halftime leads.

Raiders owner Mark Davis already committed to head coach Josh McDaniels returning for the 2023 season. There is uncertainty surrounding quarterback Derek Carr, who has an opt-out clause after this season.

If the Raiders are going to make a move for a quarterback, they can try reuniting Rodgers and Adams.

The Raiders making this move would be similar to that of the Denver Broncos bringing in Russell Wilson to contend in the AFC West, but actually good.
