Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles Week 16 prediction

The grudge match between the two top dogs in the NFC East. Philly is the best team in football by nearly every conceivable metric and bested Dallas on the Week 6 iteration of Sunday Night Football, 26-17.

This rivalry is as old as time, and these two fanbases genuinely dislike one another. The Linc was hostile back in Week 6 and we can expect more of the same at Jerry’s World this go around. This is truly the closest thing to a coin toss on the Cowboys’ remaining schedule, but it’s hard not to favor the Eagles. When push comes to shove, they will be favored by your bookie and Dallas fans should brace for that reality.

It’s mostly vibes that lend a hand to the Eagles in round two of the 2022 rivalry week. History advocates for the Cowboys, with an all-time record of 72-55 in their favor, and recent success in seven of their past 10 matchups with Philly.

The Eagles, though, had such a phenomenal offseason and everything seems to have gone to plan. They are on top of the world right now and will enjoy sweeping the Cowboys in 2022.

PREDICTION: Cowboys 19, Eagles 24

Dallas Cowboys vs Tennessee Titans Week 17 prediction

Back to the AFC South. This time the Cowboys travel to Nashville to play the division-leading Titans. Unfortunately for Tennessee fans, this is a prototypical get-right game for the Cowboys after dropping another one to the Eagles.

The Titans will be the second-worst division winner in 2022—just a smidge ahead of whoever survives the dumpster fire that is the NFC South—and their outlook is as grim as any team in the picture today.

Say something nice about the Titans?  Okay. The defense plays tough. A lot of teams in the NFL form their identity in the image of their head coach, and Mike Vrabel is a tough S.O.B. It doesn’t appear as if that is going to be enough to get them too deep this season, though. With a sore rear end, feeling the need to prove themselves again, the Cowboys will march behind enemy lines and beat Tennessee at their own game, out-toughing them.

PREDICTION: Cowboys 24, Titans 13
