3 Patriots to blame for the stupidest loss ever to the Raiders

Jakobi Meyers made the worst decision on football field since the LS-Shoe game
I don’t even know what to say at this point. Do we know where Jakobi Meyers was when the Tennessee Titans Music City Miracle-d the Buffalo Bills to send them into a hopeless abyss for the better part of two decades? He may have been better served being a Lorenzo Neal, or even a Kevin Dyson, but Meyers channeled his inner Frank Wycheck by throwing the worst pass in NFL history.
Not since Marco Wilson throw a shoe in Gainesville have we seen something this stupid happen on a football field. Not to say this is going to cost people jobs like when Elijah Mitchell lifted his hind leg in Starkville, but there was no band on the field on Sunday. The end result may not have prevented John Elway from getting to a bowl game, but might cost New England a playoff berth.
When Tom Osborne drew up the Fumblerooski, Boise State mimicked the Statue of Liberty or Nubie taught his friends in Urbania, Ohio about the Annexation of Puerto Rico, this is not what they had in mind. Meyers can probably relate to fellow New England area goat Bill Buckner about what it is like to let an entire region of fans down, but Buckner passed away nearly four years ago.
Meyers can do great things going forward in the rest of his life, but he will be remembered for this.
