ACC. . Florida State Seminoles. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 804. 2. player

Travis Hunter was committed to play for Mike Norvell at Florida State previously

Had it not been for the Coach Prime mystique, Hunter would be starring in Tallahassee already. Florida State is Sanders’ alma mater and the Seminoles had Hunter’s five-star commitment until they did not. Even though Mike Norvell came up empty-handed, his team persevered and had its best season in ages. Florida State is not completely back yet, but is certainly trending that way.

All things equal, Florida State is the best football program in the ACC. It can get to a level programs like Clemson, Miami and several others cannot get to and sustain. It may seem a bit farfetched right now, but Hunter could be part of a playoff team in the next two years if he were to play for the Seminoles, albeit one year later than expected. Florida State has to be in the mix to land him.

One would think Florida State will be on a shortlist of teams who can win the ACC title next year.

. 1. 814. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. SEC. Georgia Bulldogs. player

Travis Hunter grew up right down the road from Athens in Gwinnett County

Not to say Georgia is a dark horse to get him by any means, but you cannot overlook what it is like growing up in the shadows of The Peach State’s college football behemoth. There is so much talent in-state that Kirby Smart and his program cannot possibly retain it all. Frankly, his team is so good these days that the Dawgs can pick and choose what players they want to sign nationally.

Hunter grew up right down the road from Athens in Gwinnett County. He was a generational player at Collins Hill. Although he never seemed like a candidate to go to Georgia during the latter part of his recruitment, you would often see Hunter taking unofficial visits to Athens during the 2021 college football season. Who says you can’t go home? Going home would be huge for UGA.

Just imagine Hunter potentially playing both ways for Georgia. That is the SEC’s nightmare, y’all!
