1. Trades the Lakers need to make with Anthony Davis out: Zach LaVine

One of the bigger stories around the NBA this week has been the reported tension between Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls. LaVine is in the first year of a massive, five-year contract worth $215 million.

But, he hasn’t lived up to billing yet this season. If LaVine and the Bulls continue to struggle in their relationship, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that Chicago tries to deal the UCLA product. Another rebuild just might be on the horizon in Chicago, and Los Angeles could take advantage.

In 26 games this season, LaVine is posting 21.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the field and just over 36 percent from 3.

By no means are these bad numbers, but LaVine’s effort has been sporadic. Perhaps, going back to the West Coast would help rejuvenate LaVine this season. Not to mention, playing on a team alongside LeBron could further his effort on both ends of the floor.

In this trade, the Lakers get both LaVine and Coby White. They add scoring between the two of them, but also give up a pair of first-rounders along with that final year of Russell Westbrook’s deal.
