5 best NFL fits for Jim Harbaugh if he were to leave Michigan

Denver Broncos want next head coach to have prior head-coaching experience
The Denver Broncos are the latest team to give us the juiciest of Harbaugh back to the NFL rumors. After the unmitigated disaster that was the Nathaniel Hackett era, Denver is going to hire a former head coach as its next head coach. Some may say this reeks of NBA retread shenanigans, but you cannot blame the Broncos’ brass after how over his skis Hackett looked in his one season.
The two other candidates one would expect Denver would entertain are Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton. If Ron Rivera is let go in Washington, he would be a fit as well. As for Harbaugh, he would be the one to end the Broncos’ seven-year itch of not making the playoffs. He will be the one to Let Russ Cook in Denver.
More importantly, will he be doing high-knees on a transatlantic flight alongside Mr. Unlimited?
Indianapolis Colts already have Jim Harbaugh inducted into team’s Ring of Honor
Let’s be real. This is the best option for Harbaugh going away. While Dan Quinn would be a fantastic fit here as well, he is not a former Indianapolis Colts star quarterback like Harbaugh is. Harbaugh has won big games at Lucas Oil Stadium before. The Colts will have a top-five pick, putting them in position to trade up for either Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud. Plus, Harbaugh is family.
Should the Colts take on the personality of Harbaugh’s Michigan program, they will contend annually in what might become a very strong AFC South division in due time. He would be able to hold his own vs. the likes of Doug Pederson and Mike Vrabel in the division. Harbaugh will align himself with a franchise quarterback and stop this ongoing Colts nonsense and just win the South!
If Jim Irsay puts forth a strong offer to Harbaugh, he has to take it, as his former team needs help.
