Big Penix Energy is best thing to happen to Seattle since Griffey, grunge or coffee

No doubt about it, the Pac-12 is absolutely loaded at quarterback. One of the best storylines from last season was the Washington Huskies’ return to prominence under new head coach Kalen DeBoer. He may have had great success previously at Fresno State, but he would not have this traditional power back so quickly with the outstanding play of the southpawed Michael Penix Jr.

Big Penix Energy is all the rage in Washington. It is the new Seattle sound and cooler than your cup of whatever you got from Starbucks. Good things are brewing for the Huskies. Although they play in the same conference as Oregon, USC and Utah, Washington has as good of a chance as anybody of getting to Las Vegas and playing for a playoff berth. They were there not that long ago.

While Washington tends to let us down when we put a ton of stock into it, that is not going to be the case with Penix. He was the reason why we cared about Indiana Hoosiers football during the pandemic. Whether or not he is an NFL prospect, Penix is absolutely electrifying on the football field. One could argue he is a better version over Bo Nix because we can trust him in crunch time.

Washington’s border war with Oregon could be at its all-time peak with Penix vs. Nix this season.
