NFL Draft rumors: Bears trade No. 1 to Raiders

Three No. 1’s? Wow. That’s a big haul to give up. However, if memory serves, wagering big in Vegas is not uncommon. That said, the division they play in means they need a game-changer at the quarterback position, or the cellar awaits. We just saw what the Broncos did for Russell Wilson. LA has Justin Herbert, and Kansas City is in a place called the Super Bowl. Get a good picture?

Chicago can reverse engineer the Khalil Mack trade by grabbing the haul from the Raiders and instead use those picks to fill out their roster and more transactions along the way to plug any deficiencies; again, this all falls back on Justin Fields and his development.

Getting three first-round picks is a massive step in the right direction should Chicago wish to trade the No. 1 overall pick. Additionally, they could trade back again from No. 7 and add more selections to 2024 and 2025.

Something is brewing in the Windy City, and Chicago could be reaping those benefits.
