NFL Rumors: Taylor Lewan landing spots after release by Titans
The Tennessee Titans cleaned house in a series of cap-saving moves on Wednesday as they released Robert Woods, Randy Bullock, Zach Cunningham and most notably three-time Pro Bowler Taylor Lewan. Lewan broke the news by announcing it via his Bussin’ With the Boys podcast feed on Twitter.

Lewan, when healthy, has been a stalwart at left tackle for the Titans. Having said that, injuries have plagued him in recent years, most notably with him missing almost all of the 2022 campaign with a torn ACL, an injury he also suffered in the 2020 season as well.
Because of his health, he does come with a risky label as he enters free agency now. But he’s a risk that some teams should be willing to take.
No matter what the Chicago Bears do with Justin Fields, the offensive line needs drastic help and Lewan could be a worthwhile flier to take in order to do that. The Miami Dolphins have taken more swings on the O-line but the misses have been evident in the lack of protection for Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami backups. The Houston Texans could also try to steal the former division rival to pair Lewan with Laremy Tunsil. And don’t overlook other potential landing spots like the Las Vegas Raiders or New England Patriots either.
He might not be the All-Pro-caliber player he was a few years ago, but there should definitely be a market for Lewan.
