NFL Rumors: Jalen Ramsey trade destinations to consider
Given comments by the Rams front office and the lackluster results of the 2022 season in LA, it’s seemed for some time that a Jalen Ramsey trade was, at the very least, a possibility. Now the reports are indicating that it’s actually likely, as described by NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
While Ramsey offered his own commentary on the possibility of a trade that, at least somewhat, refuted the report, it still seems like there is something developing with this situation. And it wouldn’t be hard to imagine a lucrative market for Ramsey.
Considering that the Rams mostly want to get him off of the books, a Jalen Ramsey trade wouldn’t be all that costly in terms of draft capital in a return package. Really, it’s more about which teams can clear up enough room to make a trade happen.
While it’s early, teams such as the Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings would make sense as Ramsey landing spots. However, you can’t rule out teams like the Dallas Cowboys, a franchise in need of making a splash and that could rectify its 2016 draft where they took Ezekiel Elliott over Ramsey. Teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions and even the New England Patriots shouldn’t be ignored.
Though the price won’t be crazy, it should be a frenzy to try and land Ramsey this offseason.
