1. Could Carson Wentz be the band-aid for the Tennessee Titans?

It feels like not enough people are talking about the potential for the Tennessee Titans to fully blow it up and, as such, end up trading Ryan Tannehill this offseason. The organization has been madly clearing up cap space, traded A.J. Brown last offseason, has a new general manager and could be looking to hit a hard reset.

Giving credence to this notion is a little nugget from mid-February from Conor J. Hughes of SNY that Tannehill was on the Jets’ list of potential options at quarterback this offseason with New York being high on him. Throw in the fact that there was trade speculation around the quarterback last offseason, too, and the stars start to align.

Where would the Titans turn to at quarterback if that happens, though? The most obvious answer is Malik Willis, but his starts during his rookie season proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he’s not ready for the NFL, which is why Josh Dobbs was starting at the end of the year.

That reeks of desperation and a team that, though they might not be trying to win games, needs to get a semi-competent quarterback on the field to not hinder the development of players like Treylon Burks and Chig Okonkwo. Wentz could be the fit to do that while the Titans start planning for their true future at the position.
