Which teams from the SEC made the NCAA Tournament? (Odds to win)
By Peter Dewey
The SEC received as many bids to the NCAA Tournament as any conference (tied with the Big Ten) and the Alabama Crimson Tide were rewarded with the No. 1 seed after winning the conference tournament on Sunday.
Alabama headlined a group of seven teams that received sing;e-digit seeds, while Mississippi State received a bid to be in the First Four this week.
The 32 teams that win their respective conference tournament are awarded an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The remaining 36 teams that are selected receive at-large bids, mainly coming from the biggest conferences in college basketball (the Big Ten, Big 12, Pac 12, ACC, SEC, Big East, AAC, Mountain West and Atlantic 10).
The SEC received seven of those at-large bids, but will the conference have a team make a deep run?
